What will an AWI qualifier consist of?

An AWI Qualifier will consist of 3 divisions:
The AWI Open Division, the AWI Freestyle only Division and the Toss & Catch only Division.

The AWI Open Division will consist of one preliminaries round of Freestyle and one round of T&C.
After these rounds, there will be a cut.
The top 10 teams will do a second round of Freestyle to determine the overall placing.
The top 5 teams of the overalls placing will be quallified for the AWI Europan Championship and the AWI Word Championship.

The T/C Division will consist of two rounds of T/C.
The cut for the second round of T/C will be also at 10.
The top 5 teams of the T&C placing will be quallified for the AWI Europan T&C Championship.
This Division will feature a cash prize to the winner.

The Freestyle Division will consist of two rounds of T/C.
The cut for the second round of Freestyle will be also at 10.
The top 5 teams of the freestyle placing will be quallified for the AWI Europan Freestyle Championship.

All divisions above MUST be held if a host would like to run an AWI Qualifier.
If a team is competing in both, their first round of Toss & Catch WILL count as both their AWI Toss & Catch round and their first round of T/C.

Each host may run additional divisions, including Novice / Advanced etc. divisions, at their discretion; however these divisions will not be part of the AWI event.

How much does it costs to hold a qualifier?

The AWI demand license fees for every starter of the "Open class" (12€), the "Freestyle only" (6€) and for the "Toss and Catch only" (6€).
This fees are part of the AWI division entry fees which are set by the AWI.

AWI Open Division entryfe is 24 € .
The host will keep 12 € of this and 12 € will be given to the AWI to cover running costs ( like running the EC etc. ).

AWI T/C only Division entryfee is 12€ .
The host will keep 6€ of this and 6€ will be given to the AWI to cover running costs ( like running the EC etc. ).

AWI Freestyle only Disvision entryfee is 12€ .
The host will keep 6€ of this and 6€ will be given to the AWI to cover running costs ( like running the EC etc. ).

If it is possible, the AWI Europe will provide some giveaways for the open class and the qualified teams. The shipping costs will be covered by the AWI.
For this reason all registrations must be closed one week before.

Hosts may keep the proceeds from entry fees for any other divisions they choose to run at the event.

AWI Sponsors

To run the AWI series in Europe, the AWI need sponsors.
The hosts are obliged to present the sponsors as good as possible at the tournaments and to give them the option to present themselves and their products.
